With a tear in my eye

This photograph was taken for my "Reflection" project. As you can see, I was able to focus on the tear drop and capture the reflection of the window in the tear. The reason why I used black and white for this photograph was to bring the focal point on the tear drop.

Muslin Flared Skirt

This is a flared skirt that I made in my pattern class. It was completely our decision to decide on how many gores we wanted. I wanted to make it a little challenging and decided to go with 8 gores and this was the outcome. The fabric used on this skirt is called Muslin. The reason why this fabric was used due to its cost (very cheap) and mainly because it is a prototype.

Jersey Flared Skirt

This is the final result of the "Muslin Flared Skirt". The fabric I used for this is Jersey. The skirt has 8 gores, meaning, it has 8 pieces which I sewed together.

Buttons

These are buttons that I made using Adobe Illustrator. I had to use the patterns that were already given in the program. With pattern, we had to use the rotation tool and make a circular design out of it. After that, instead of using just one colour, we had to make shades of colours that complemented each other. The first button is my final design and the last button was the first button I tried.

Dogtooth Pencil Skirt

This is my first skirt that I made. As you can see, I have used the famous "Dog Tooth" print. The fabric I used is wool. The reason why I chose wool was because this skirt was aimed for Autumn/Winter.

O2 Reflection

This photograph was taken in London, England. The location of the photograph taken is at the O2 Arena. The theme of my photography project was 'Reflection'. As you know London is known for the rain, therefore I wanted to take the opportunity of using the weather as part of the theme.

These drawings are called floats. Floats are drawn in a way where it seems as if the clothes are on a body, therefore you would show shadows, creases etc.

Graphic Logo

This is a logo that I made using Adobe Illustrator. It is actually the first logo I have made.We have to use the designs that were already saved in Illustrator and just changed them around to our choice. I added the colour and the circles to decorate the given design.

Flare Skirt Drawing

This is a technical drawing of a flared skirt I made. Before making the "Muslin Flared Skirt" I had to design various types of flared skirts and decide which one I preferred. Out of the three, this is the one I found was well drawn and met my expectations.

Graphics

I made this using Adobe Illustrator. The task was to use an image from the internet and modifing it using the tools in the program. I used a picture from OBEY and added a border. I also gave an effect to the border and picture to give it more life rather than just a red/black picture.
