Wanderlust.

I’ve been very fortunate to have the opportunity to travel ever since a young age. When I was younger my mom, sister and I often went to Florida together, and ever since then I have been bitten by the travel bug. Having a big imagination and a heart for adventure, traveling is in my blood. When I was 12 my mom sister and I left for two weeks and visited Spain, France and Italy. This was my first time in Europe and it was absolutely breath taking. A few years later I returned to Spain and stayed in Barcelona for two weeks with a group of my friends. This time in Europe was very different then the first. I was older and had a whole different appreciation for what I was looking at. Shortly after Barcelona I found out that I would be visiting The Dominican Republic for a community service trip. There are no words for these two weeks of my life, they were just extraordinary. In my final year of high school I was extremely lucky to have an opportunity of a lifetime. Japan was next on my list of travels. Following that was a trip to Chez Republic, Austria and Hungary. In between all of those miles and years was Boston, Washington, Toronto, Kingston, Calgary, Ottawa, Quebec City, Lac St Jean, New Jersey, New York and Baltimore. Every single time that I’ve traveled I’ve learnt something new, something that a book can’t teach you, and I would never trade that for the world. Traveling is something I recommend to everyone, doesn’t matter if its 3o minutes away of 16 hours away. There is always something to be seen and information to absorb. My future travel plans are to go to Indonesia, I hope to visit Bali where I would do a 200-hour yoga retreat and maybe take a short flight to Fiji. Perhaps on my way home Stop by South Africa to learn about their traditional culture, foods, dances and take a safari.
