"Tissot" - Historical Project

This was the historical costume project at LaSalle College. The era selected was 1875-1880 in Paris, France. The inspiration came from the “Ball on Shipboard” by James Tissot. We each had to choose a pastel color and we had to design specifically “day dresses” of the period. We also had to create a character including physical attributes as well as personality. The character I created is named Clarisse Beaumont and she is a young, flirtatious, day-dreamer type.
