Arius

Arius is an electronic DJ producer duo founded in 2013. To help promote the upcoming music duo, a series of conceptual artwork and promotional material was created with a redesigned logo. A major highlight of DJs are their detailed light shows that occur when they are performing. Therefore, the concept statement “Release The Flow of Movement” came into play to be shown across all of the components in the project. The new logo stayed faithful to the goat visual theme, but was altered to appear more clean compared to the rough look of the original logo. The colours used throughout the designs were tied in with the idea of the visuals at a DJ show, which are bright, vibrant colours. The album cover and booklet graphics are connected with the concept, giving a feeling of movement through eye catching visuals. This was shown through the use of glowing effects and various patterning within the logo to simulate the lights seen at DJ shows.
