Destroy

What is humanity good at other than destruction. Merely look to our own planet’s health for that answer. We can create all we want but we ultimately will destroy it one way or another. Through the use of still life and tableaux vivant, I created theses images as a juxtaposition about humanity’s creativity and it’s destructiveness. I was inspired by photographers David Brandon Geeting and Phillip-Lorca diCorcia who both created the tone and lighting I set out to achieve. Upon viewing my series, I want people to recognise the volatile nature of humans and feel guilt about what we as a species do to beautiful things.
