Blysk Racing - CSBK 2017

In the summer of 2017, I followed Samuel Trépanier and his racing team across four provinces of Canada in the MOPAR Canadian Superbike Championship. With the objective of producing videos and other kinds of media content to promote Blysk Racing, I would adventure myself around a racing track with a film camera and capture different moment of Samuel's journey as a superbike rider. After, I would gather all the good material and assemble review videos with astonishing moments.

CSBK Round 1 - Shannonville

In this video I aimed for a futuristic video log style with several establishing shots.

CSBK Round 2 - Grand Bend

Motivated by a 1980's vibe, I brought it into the video aligning it with the incredible beach landscape.

CSBK Round 3 - Saint Eustache

Rainy weekend, short track, tough race, incredible French Canadian atmosphere. I could say this was great inspiration for this video.

CSBK Round 4 - Shubenacadie

The hills of Nova Scotia bring ups and downs to a race but also a pure air, warming people and a great feeling to a race, which was adapted in this video piece.

CONCEPT - Blysk Racing Intro

This is a concept video animation intro made for Blysk Racing. In this intro were used motion graphics, videos and royalty free music, all combined in Adobe After Effects.

CSBK Round 5 - Bowmanville

The last round of the CSBK at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park represented a huge challenge, but Samuel was able to put his hammer down and get on the podium of one of the fastest racing tracks in Canada.
