Roll - Chair

‘Rollchair’ was inspired by the motions made by paintrollers: it is a modular two-seats bench, in an ironical fashion. The mechanism exploits the ball bearings to make the seats spin. These will be made in PVC plastic, a material often used by industries due to its utility. The entire structure of the bench will be made in steel polished with abrasive paste - in such a way to mirror the surroundings. This is so that the seats will seem to be at one with the environment. Due to its freedom of positioning, the seat would be employed best in open spaces. The chromatic choice, which relies on complementary colours on different seats, is meant to capture the attention of an observer on the structure of the entire bench; the eye will be pleased.
