"Although we don’t share surnames, they shared their time with me, their knowledge, their power, their strength. They gave me tools to grow as a person, taught me how to tie my shoes, and introduced me to sewing. I may not share their surname, but the love and the heritage they passed onto me will always remain intact. This is why this collection is about them, my grandmothers.
