Fashion Design: I am a passionate fashion designer capable of turning ideas into garment collections. Through my university studies, I have gained knowledge in sketching, drawing, fabric selection, pattern cutting, moulage, sewing, Photoshop, illustrator and other techniques required to design and execute collections for the high street, ready-to-wear and haute couture fashion markets.

Visual Merchandising: Through my previous work experience in Uzbekistan and London I have developed several techniques on how to properly merchandise male and female garments. I have done a course in Visual Merchandising in the fashion retail academy that has improved my knowledge in the field.

Communication: I possess good verbal and written communication skills developed through my academic studies and employment.
Organization/Planning: My academic study and employment required excellent planning skills in order to organize and meet deadlines, on top of having the ability to acquire new skills quickly.

Sales: I have had experience in retail sales face to face. I enjoy exceeding my targets. I possess persuading skills, which allow me to obtain excellent results.

Team Work: I am used to working as part of a team; capable of communicating and expressing ideas efficiently and coherently in order to reach goals as a group.

Languages: I am fluent in English, Russian, Uzbek, Spanish and Turkish.

Career History:
London College of Fashion, London, England.
April – July 2016 Role: Erasmus exchange student
I spent time in the LCF in London and presented a project for the Victoria and Albert Museum. This consisted of a communication and advertising campaign, to promote the Agent Provocateur ́s Undressed exhibition.

SSIC AND PAUL, Barcelona. Spain.
Jan. 04-April 01 Role: JulFashion Design Assistant
This was a work experience position where I put into practice my cutting pattern and sewing skills. I made new designs and sewed prototypes of garments. I participated in the designing of a new collection and its fabric choosing process. I was also in charge of filling up, sending and communicating the technical sheets to the sewing team.

John Lewis, Oxford Street, London UK.
May. 11 – July 11. Role: Visual Merchandising Assistant.
This was a work experience position where I followed floor plans and sketching designs, helped in sourcing materials and display elements, such as lighting, props, and accessories. Installing and dismantling displays. Implementing the designs and plans created by the visual merchandising manager and the creative director.

July. 06 – Sept. 07. Role: Visual Merchandiser.
After helping the Visual merchandising manager for six months, I was promoted to Visual Merchandiser. It was my role to create window and in-store displays, taking responsibility for ‘the look’ of the store, with the aim of promoting goods in order to maximise sales.
