Creating an Inventive System (CNS)

“Creating an Inventive System” is an infographic that was developed to visually depict the cognitive breakdown of how I process my creativity. The concept was inspired by my Psychology degree, which uses theories as well as biological information and how it affects my overall behaviour. Elements of the brain are used throughout each poster; molecular breakdown, bar graphs and pyramids. To avoid a dull appearance the visual elements that supported the data were combined with typesetting, simple shapes and bright colours. The infographic was positioned in a four square grid. This was done so each poster and its elements could stand-alone but when placed together can be seen as a whole. Five main colors were used throughout the infographic. With a large emphasis on saturation the main idea was to make sure design elements popped off the page.
