Red Panda

Red Panda is a commercial tea shop that required unique branding for the retail outlets and custom products. The store name is based on the Red Panda, a mammal native to southwestern China that is popular for its cute appearance and colourful body. The intention of the animal choice was twofold. Secondly, a Chinese animal was chosen as a direct association to ancient Chinese tea drinking culture. The intended demographic for the store is young adults who would appreciate it. To visualize the cuteness of the animal and attract the demographic that was intended, the logo was made with the animal and a teacup to reflect the nature of the store directly. The design of the products is minimalist to emphasize the branding. The naming of the different tea is related to the benefits.
