Helix

For this concept I examined the tendrils of a pumpkin and noted they coil they formed - a sort of “perpetual hug”. “Helix” is a ground lamp composed of two elements: a rigid one in aluminium and a semi-rigid one made of transparent plastic, which allows one to freely reposition it to one’s own content; what is more, the components can be separated and stand on their own. Both are provided with a light source: the rigid element displays small cylinder-shaped LEDs arranged on its body, while the semi-rigid one is provided with an internal LED tube. Both of them are solar-powered.
