Niki Fattahi is a jewellery designer from Vancouver, Canada. She was born in Tehran, Iran and lived there for 26 years. She began her academic education in Industrial engineering at Iran University of Science and technology, one of the top ranked universities of the country, and graduated with her bachelor degree. She really enjoyed the workshops and practical courses of her program and enjoyed using hands making things. After graduating, she continued her Education in Master of Business Administration, Marketing at Sharif University of Technology, another top ranked university, completed the program and got her degree. In Tehran She took a jewellery and metal working workshop. After immigrating to Vancouver, Canada she decided to continue her education in jewellery design and enrolled in a full-time course at LaSalle College of Art and Design. She will graduate in December 2015. Her jewellery has been featured in exhibitions in Canada Such as the Vancouver Metal Art Association group show. she is a member of the Craft Council of British Colombia (CCBC). As a jewellery Artist she is inspired by Nature, Architecture, Ancient Alphabets and many other influences. she prefers using semiprecious stones and beads and gold. All the pieces are hand made and constructed by her.
