The Crucible is a play by Arthur Miller during the 1960s and it is describing witchcraft in medieval times. I found this play very interesting because it shows that no one is saint when it times to save your life.
Making a moldboard for aesthetic of costumes are important because it leads your inspiration and rest of the characters costume.
Garment inspiration for the play, as long as it's a dark play I wanted to add metal to the garment to give it more edge but as you see in the second page its modernized medieval times costumes. I'm going to keep the silhouette of the medieval times and modernize them.
Abigail is a maid that manipulates everyone and I'm pretty sure if there was a witch she would be it but as long as she has very good communication skills everyone believed she is innocent. So I think she would wear something simple as long as she is just house keeper but also she wears red and dark to explain she is a dark character.
A nice judge that tries to stop the violence and killing people in the name of god and accusation of witchcraft.
John Proctor is a charter that lives with his wife and kids and his wife get accused to be a witch and as he tries to help her he gets accused too. He is farmer, so I feel he would be very connected to nature and plants.
She is the wife of John Protor. She is very nice, and she is the wife of a farmer, so she loves nature as much as her husband. Elizabeth is very soft and delicate.
Old lady with an open mind. I find her fascinating she is strong and in the times that women were not able to work she was a nurse and worked side by side her husband. I think she would be very pretty and smart.
