G Adventures Tour Brochure

Both New York and Boston are prime examples of cities with history. As this brochure provided information about the trip between these cities, it made sense to showcase some of the possible new memories that could be made in these old cities. The concept of “Old cities, New Memories” was then brought forward with the use of black and white photography of local props, location, activities and views. To keep things fresh, bold and sophisticated red was chosen as the primary color. This along with a layered typographic hierarchy meant the viewers eye could be guided through the page and to the important information. This meant the brochure was visually appealing and easy to navigate. Another challenge was the map, which commanded too much space on the page and made it harder to navigate across the brochure without the viewer seeing too much of the map. The solution was then to place the map lower on the visual hierarchy by reducing its opacity. This meant the map was visible yet took up less space, while showing the location information needed. As a result, it made each page a little different making each page more eye catching and easier to remember.
