Project 2 for Creative Software

The entire design is based on my Japanese culture background and appreciation towards the gothic themed objects. The text written in Japanese and the bloody handprint refers to the famed historical event ‘Honnoji Incident(Daimyo Oda Nobunaga forced suicide at the hands of his general Akechi Mitsuhide)’. The Katanas(Japanese Swords) that are crossing behind the handprint are symbolism for both Japanese Samurai’s virtues and the theme of violence of war. The cannabis leafs around the corner refers to my recognition and appreciation towards Canada’s cannabis legalization and my personal interest in the cannabis culture. The skulls represent the gothic theme relation and death during the historical wars of Japan.
