Biography

d. Auchter Yahgu'7lanaas was born and raise in the secluded islands of Haida Gwaii. With a family tree rich with artist, d. takes his love of creating/building and focuses his talents on jewellery design and exhibitions. Currently enrolled at LaSalle College Vancouver in their Jewellery Design Program, d. continues to expand his knowledge on the field. He currently employes traditional techniques such as, casting, piercing, setting, as well as working in non-traditional materials such as textiles.
