Park View Condo

DESIGN INTENT The goal of this project was to maximize the space in the condo and make the layout so efficient that the homeowner felt like they had more space than they actually did. This couple likes to entertain, and they needed space for when out of town guests visit. While they both are quite active and busy with work, they wanted a space they could relax in.    CONCEPT Inspired by the couple’s eclectic taste in art, this home combines his love of clean lines with her appreciation for light and feminine details. Neutral materials were selected so that specific design elements, like the unique fireplace design, would stand out. The design of this home is a blend of both personalities, with unique character and custom features throughout.   DESIGN APPLICATION Entertaining was front of mind for this layout. The open kitchen, living and dining allows ample opportunity for guests to mingle during a party. Distinction is created for each area with changes in lighting, wall detailing and material selections. Privacy is maintained by strategically locating the bedrooms on opposite sides of the home. Throughout this condo Sonos speakers were installed in the ceilings so that music can be played throughout the home at any given point. This condo is perfectly suited for an active and highly social couple.
