The lotus flower is one of the most sacred flowers in east Asian culture. Symbolising spiritual enlightenment as well as rebirth, it is seemingly flawless despite growing in muddy rivers and re-blooms every morning unscathed. An object of divine energy, it is often depicted with mighty figures and spiritual beings. The layers of the lotus flower are reimagined in the elements of a classic Chinese cheongsam with a contemporary twist. Frog clasps, gold bias hems and plum blossom brocade cultivate a spring collection with a layered mandarin collar embrace.
