Atéleia by Arsette

Atéleia represents a girl's fear of not being good enough, of being dictated by our society rules of how to be perfect. She feels ropes around her body, strangling her. She feels controlled, like a puppet, a girl on a string. Finally she decides to 'cut the strings' and rebel against those rules and do what she wants, not what others say. To be able to feel free, imperfect. To be able to feel herself. It is inspired in historical lingerie, giving underwear a new meaning, wearing what it is supposed to be hidden as the main characters of this story. Corsets will not be a tool for women’s oppression. Instead, it will be the armor to fight against all fears. To empower women and enhance their inner strength.
