The city is known as the “food heaven of China.” It is also known as “the city of flowers.” The town makes a perfect balance of traditional buildings and the modern one. People who visit Guangzhou will feel the energy, culture, and business potential. The goal of this branding design is to reflect the value of Guangzhou. The concept of the logo Milestone to the modern culture comes from a very famous modern architecture, the Guangzhou opera house. Zaha Hadid designs the building. The Guangzhou Opera House design based on the principles of topography and geology. The shape of the building reminds me of the form of rocks. Therefore, the logo is the combination of rock shapes and a letter “g.” The building is a very iconic modern architecture in Guangzhou. Guangzhou is the first city to open economic policy in China. Therefore, the logo represents a milestone to modern China.
