Good Mourning

The briefing we had to follow in this last project was based on just one word: happiness. I chose focusing on the opposite to improve one of the unhappiest situations, grief after death, in order to explain what mourning is and make it more managable; making mourning a less experience heavy by acknowledging how it works. We all know that every person reacts different to shocking or heartbreaking situations. However being aware of what you generally may feel and go through doesn’t mean being happier quicker. It means you don’t feel as lost as you would, it means you have something to look at when it all falls apart and seems endless. I wanted to create an individual useful tool for the grieving person, materialized as four informative handkerchiefs. It can be founded inside the new symbol I propose displayed in funeral homes. The intention with a nose as a symbol is to humanize them as a space, death as a subject and our own behaviour when coping with it. To see the whole project check behance.net/nurianef :D
