Wescot Elementary has been established since the 90s. As they are growing rapidly in the number of students, this project is intent is to re-invent the space and collaborating "flexible learning". With this new design, each spaces will have or adjacent to a "breakout space". For classes desks and chairs will be able to move to form different sitting arrangements; depending on the class.
"the dome" is the center piece of the space giving a more private sitting for students to read.

Each primary classroom consist of two different sitting arrangements (table & window sitting). All tables and chairs are on wheels to have a more flexible arrangements, depending on the class in session.
To avoid clutter in the classroom, all primary classes also have a hidden lockers and storage behind the whiteboard. There are also teacher's storage for them to store books or personal belongings.
Each kindergarten class have access to an outdoor playground area. All tables are movable and shared with three kids, to promote flexible learning.
This is the indoor play or reading area inside the class. Each class also has a sink inside.
