Name: Katy Vogue Nguyen Career: Artist (Painter) and Consultant Katy Vogue is a single mom, she has 2 kids-one is a boy and one is a girl. She is a strong and independent woman. She has a passion for art, and she is a painter. Due to being a single mom, she spends a lot of time working from home so she can take care of her children. Fortunately, her job creates good conditions for her working from home. She is a type of modern woman. She does love minimalist things. Because of that, her house concept is minimalism and modern style. Concept Statement: The location is Kitsilano, one of the areas has beautiful views beach. Take advantage of that, the house will have a lot of big windows in order to merch the natural. Open space is an essential element for modern concepts. Big patios for 2 levels face to the beach. A lot of big windows will allow natural light easy to access inside the house. The hight of the design is the staircase. The staircase connects level one and level two of the house and locating in the middle of the house will be a space that allows the sun shining through the skylight to the entire house.
