Femininity, “the qualities or attributes regarded as characteristic of women” as described in the dictionary. Rebellion “an act of armed resistance to an established government or leader”. Role model “a person looked by others as an example to be imitated”. Words have pre-established definitions, however each individual has the power to perceive them differently. As individuals in a society, we each have different beliefs and backgrounds with different role models and influences. That is why this collection has many different sources of inspiration, from the carefree approach towards feminity, where no standard ideals are followed, the awareness of individuality, as well as the reinforcement to rebel and express one’s thoughts or beliefs with no limits or margins. The pieces in the collection will represent these ideas by the contrast and subversion of “old” or “vintage” techniques combined with complete different textiles, techniques and designs, leaving place for odd and unique combinations. The presence of symbols and inspired designs from role models or influences will be expressed thought out the collection, leaving each client to perceive the collection differently.
