THE FASHION EDITORIAL A/W 2024-25-IN A CONTEXT OF A COLLECTIVE REFLECTION OF THE FASHION INDUSTRY: The objective of this project is to develop and interpret a video fashion editorial and to extract 3 photos aimed at interpreting the trend, theme, and factor developed throughout the semester. We are to propose a collective and visual reflexion in the field of the fashion industry in current context. Theme: The fluctuation of consumer preferences (values) and market de-saturation. Strategy: As Gen Z and Millennials search for companies that are aligned with their values, companies will shift their attention to their core values in order to stay relevant in the market and develop genuine and loyal customer relationships.
This upcoming trend focuses on being groundbreaking in the way that marketing works. In the colours, we will see earth tones, gender neutral shades, and an overall muted colour palette to represent the liaison and togetherness of the different values being promoted. The silhouettes will stop being form fitting. Values: body positivity, gender fluidity, sustainability, inclusivity, and cultural appreciation.
