All of the breads, loafs and buns I have made throughout my fourth term at LaSalle College.
A Jewish Sabbath and holiday bread that has been in existence for thousands of years. Prepared with a preferment dough and shaped into a four stranded braid. Braided loaves, with their intertwined portions, symbolize love.
This noticeably tangy product uses the sourdough starter method. Shaped by being proofed with string tied around it to help create a pumpkin inspired shape.
An Onion Walnut Bread formed in circle and proofed in a round banneton basket. A Carrot Bread with Herbs formed into a heart shape and a Potato Cheddar Cheese Bread formed into a torpedo shape and topped with grated cheese.
A Whole Wheat Sourdough Loaf scored with a tree on top. A Sourdough Olive Bread shaped as a flower and topped with a balsamic glaze after baking. And a Sourdough Rye Bread and a Sourdough Cheese Bread.
