The Corporate Design for the Interior Design program spanned the course of 1 quarter, a period of 3 months. The project was based on commercial space available for leasing in a Vancouver neighborhood - Gastown. The proposal was to combine the concept of a traditional office with a modern twist for a marketing agency. Overall, the space is collaborative but private areas are also provided - meeting room and shared quiet rooms for private calls and jobs of which silence is required. Hierarchy is considered through private offices for the three principals. The office offers a space for socialization - a spacious kitchen that works as well as a bar and a coffee area and a space for relaxation that relies on reading and chilling booths. The industrial style is kept through brick walls and apparent mechanical structure on the ceiling. The colours blue and red make their appearance for a colourful twist and introduction to branding, matching with the logo colours. This kitchen is a perfect space for the employees to have their meals but at the same time it is very spacious for happy hours and celebrations.

The reception is part of the open concept of this office, providing an inviting space that invites dynamic interactions.

The three partners have their private offices but the glass partition allows the open concept feeling to extend to this portion of the office.

This meeting room is the focal point of the office. It is a glass structure that also can provide privacy by closing the blinds.
