IMDb Inclusive App Redesign

IMDb™ is a website that specializes in movie news and information. This rebranding project was done because the existing app is not as inclusive as it could have been, especially towards colour blind and physically impaired people. This redesign keeps the existing brand design for the sake of the user’s familiarity. The main objective here is to implement inclusive features to the app. The colour-blind problem is solved by limiting green colours and using more black and white contrasts for boxes and backgrounds. Additionally, text to speech buttons are added to further help visually impaired users.. A “record your review” feature was also added so that it’s not necessary to type for reviewing in the app.
