Brand identity

It’s to create a logo for products or packages, an outer box to house the products, sets of brands. Dora is a beauty shop. Its mission is to prove that man and woman could be as compelling and glamorous in everyday life. The company has since expanded into cosmetics, skincare, fragrances, and personal care items from selling nail polish. This shop is based around the idea of the mythology of Pandora’s Box and mythical creatures. It’s said that in Pandora Box, there’s something inside the box that no one knows, the only god. It’s a mystery, and opening it would cause something unexpected.

Outter Box Packaging Kit

This box design idea is Pandora’s box all there all the packaging goes in the box and when it’s open all those creatures will come out of the box. It’s just like the story of Pandora’s box. The patterning element on the box is the same as the patterning element that’ son the packaging.

Kit Packaging

BeauCura design is based on a mythical creature called Cerberus. It’s a 3 headed dog even though they looked the same, they are not. The idea is that even they have the same face they are completely different. You will never completely know what a person is like. They all hide their real self; everyone is hiding be-hide a mask. Enchanter is based on a hybrid of a human and birds call harpy. They are similar to mermaids but they are born in the sky where the mermaid is born at sea. They also have wings so in a way they are kind of similar to angels. Angels have beautiful looks and they are perfect creatures in the world. Infenus this design is the idea of even though something is evil there’s still at least some good in them. Like the story of Pandora’s box, it released evil onto the world and destroyed everything there's still hope no matter how little it is. Lucifer is the devil and even if the evil, he used to be an angel so he's not completely evil. Mudra is based on the sea monster Cthulhu. Our world is mostly covered in water and we don’t know what’s in the depth of the sea. Which can be related to the story of Pandora’s box. Also flowed of water is long, smooth, and graceful. Dragonic Mane design is a hydra I used this because when you cut off a hydra head off two more will grow back. It’s also followed the idea of people having multiple faces and people can change is like a mask. Reborn is a phoenix. When a phoenix dies it doesn’t die it will get reborn. Even when everything is being burned around you and having a bad day, after using this it will make a person feel fresh as if they have just been reborn or made a new one. Sleek & Suave this design is a mythical creature hybrid of a lizard and a snake. In the jungle, there’s a mystery that is yet to be uncovered and what lives there. These ideas also follow the ideas of the under the sea and Pandora’s box idea. Also, lizards and snakes have sleek skins that are smooth and glossy.

Skincare Packaging

This brand extension is for skincare and the design is that instead of using mythical creatures I used symbols. In this set of packaging I used the elementals, the left represents light and hope whereas the other one is darkness. This is to follow the idea of Pandora’s Box story.

Bubble Bath Packaging

This brand extension packaging is used for baths. This creature is related to bath even though they don’t look like it. Erotic Love, I used to love because Pandora is a beautiful woman created by god. There’s a romantic bath call the Rose Petal Bath where the bath is filled with rose petals and the room is lit up with candles so I used cupid. It’s said that cupid is a god of desire, attraction, and affection. Gurgling design I used a gargoyle because it’s like a guardian watching over you. In some bathhouses, there are statues of gargoyle having water coming out of their mouth. There is a protector against evil and when having water coming out of their mouth it’s showing that is cleaning the evil. Mischievous design base on some of the times the youngsters play around in the bath with their friends and causing mischievous behaviors. Goblins cause trouble and like to play mischievous pranks on other people.

Facecare Packaing

This packaging is for face care. I used the 3 elemental earth, water, and fire. These 3 elements are where God used to create mankind. God made the human body with earth and water. Once the human shell is created then God uses fire to breathe life into the empty shell he had made. It also links to Pandora’s box because in the story goes Pandora is the first woman that God has created.

Perfume Packaging

This packaging extension is a line of perfume. The scent from the sea, this design is a creature that lives in a wet watery area in the jungle-like swamp. I used the swamp creature because the swamp is a combination of the sea and the jungle. To give off the feel of nature. Energetic Unique design is a unicorn. I used a unicorn because it signifies the uniqueness of its horn and the way its hair waver as it moves around. When there’s a unicorn there’s a rainbow. The Lingering Fantasy is a hybrid bird and snake with a long slender neck that it’s like a snake. The animal represents a creative life force and that the snake sheds its skin represents rebirth. Also, even thou that it doesn’t have wings it still can fly without one.

Business Cards

These three business card is designed as a box when pulling out from the sides it will open up and inside has a business card. It’s also designed in a way when u collect all 3 business cards together it will make a creature. The top card is the head, the second is the body and the last is the leg.

Membership Card

The three are membership cards for our shop; gold, silver, and bronze. The card is a shape of a key. It’s made as a key because keys are used to open something up or lock something. The card has a QR code at the end of the key. It can be used in the catalog. When a key is a place in the catalog the display will show all the information of the member like the things they buy, next promotions, and many other things.

Dora Catalogues

The mythical creature is all silhouette because to create the idea of the story of Pandora’s box. You will never know what is in the box and what will come out of it. Where there will be a transparent screen in the shop, where at the back of the screen it will look like a bottomless pit. The screen can be changed and display all the catalogs based on their membership including discounts and events.

Dora Invitation Cards

The two invitation cards are designed in the shape of a chest. Since the shop idea is based on Pandora’s box story. It will also make the customers curious about the gift card holder and they will take it and wants to know what is inside the gift cardholder. The invitation card is in a shape of a lock because it’s to lock up the box to stop the bad things that are coming out of Pandora’s box. The card can be placed on the invitation cardholder at the black square box. To lock up the box.
