Coralie Morrissey appointed President, Asia Pacific

Claude Marchand, President of the LCI Education network, announces the appointment of Coralie Morrissey as President, Asia Pacific for the LCI Education network. 

Based in Melbourne, Coralie will develop a regional headquarter overseeing operations and future developments of the organization in the Asia Pacific region. 

In making the announcement, Claude Marchand, President of the LCI Education network, said Coralie Morrissey’s reputation for innovation, for building programs that lead to incredible employment outcomes for students, and for her ability to foster commercial and industry relationships will be major assets to the network as she will contribute in fulfilling the promise made to each of our students and stakeholders. 

“With her extensive experience in the Vocational Education and Training and Higher Education sectors, we are more than thrilled to welcome Coralie as President of our Asia Pacific region,” said Marchand. 

Coralie’s work experience includes Executive Dean of the Faculty of Business and Hospitality at THINK Education Group (a division of Laureate Intl Universities) in Sydney, Swinburne University of Technology in Victoria where she was Executive Director of the Centre for Engineering, Technology & Trades and Executive Dean of the Faculty of Technical and Trades Innovation at Victoria University, where she lead the Faculty in the development and delivery of vocational education products and services on campus and in industry, nationally and internationally. 

She is originally from Western Australia and prior to her relocation to Victoria was General Manager of Training at Swan TAFE (now Polytechnic West) where she was instrumental in developing partnerships with industry and community through a range of projects that have gained national and international recognition. 

Coralie is a Board Member and passionate advocate of WorldSkills – in Australia and internationally, and has been actively involved in promoting and supporting teams in Western Australia, New South Wales and Victoria.
