A Brief History of Design is a series of posters that represents the style of some of the main design eras starting from the Victorian era to postmodernism. The challenge of the project was to create poster ads for today, but with the style of each era. The ads are for a conceptual collection of watches by the company called Nixon. The target audience are the 20-35 year-old cool sporty youthful people who spend their time skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding, and other sports. The posters appeal towards the target market by having the models that are of the age range of the consumers. It also, attracts the target audience by the limited vibrant colour palette.
