THE WITCH’S GRIMOIRE COOKBOOK

Cookbook design / Layout / Publication This conceptual cookbook is a collection of herbal recipes that are perceived as being magical and healing, which use plants growing in the enchanted forest. The story has a character “the Witch”, that hand makes over 100 recipes for herbal oils, vinegar, pestos, dressings, salts, cordials, syrups, smoothies and more. The design elements of the book include garden ornaments, frames and wooden textures to reference the forest, and bring a feeling of being close to the plants and herbs. An organic wooden background and decorated typefaces were chosen, which resulted in an elegant, high-end aesthetic throughout the book. Additionally, this adds significantly to the appearance and presentation of the book, and enables the audience to have a natural and mysterious experience while reading it.
