UI / UX Design Day Dream Sleep is an app created to help people fall asleep and to record the quality of their sleep. According to research, insomnia is a sleep disorder that can disrupt a person’s daily life. About 30-40 percent of people in the USA experience insomnia. The app is designed to help users improve their quality of sleep and bring more attention to the insomnia disorder. Based on the needs of the user, the tab bar was divided into five sections. Users can choose different sleep durations in the “alarm” section. The “sounds” section is designed for users to listen to the sleep-inducing sounds while sleeping. The three different categories are sounds, stories and personal choice. The most interesting part of the app is the “sleep” section, showing visualized for later review, which records statistics related to sleep quality and each sound during the sleeping time as speech bubbles, such as when the user is talking in their sleep or snoring. The “discovery” section offers articles about healthy sleep. In addition, the last section “me”, or profile, enables users to log into their accounts or change settings. Try the app at:
