Biografía

JM ESTEVEZ. Concept Designer-Illustrator. Born in 1989, passionate for drawing and animation, drawing since he was 3 years old. At the age of 16 he finishes school to study drawing and painting with Nicolas Uribe and Gustavo Rico. Graduated in 2014 from the “Fundación Universitaria del Areandina” as an animator and audiovisual postproductor, Working as an self taught illustrator. -In 2015, he worked in 1881 as a 2D animator and inker for the North American television series “Axe Cop, in several projects and as a character and concept designer for the same company. Also worked for the shortfilm ”water path for a fish”. Between 2015 and 2016 he developed a series of concept designs and wrote and illustrated a book: “21 Mascotas”. In 2016 he won the third place in the contest of character design of “Frame by frame animation”. 2017 he keeps studing working and learning, enters to venturia animation in 2018, and then goes full time at Lea Studios as Art director, concept and character designer.
