"TEARING GATES", is the representation of a personal desire. The name is a play on words that describes the importance of breaking through our boundaries. What do I mean by "boundaries"? Well, all those obstacles that prevent us from being ourselves, that is, from knowing our real self. This collection talks about the obstacles and frustration I feel in front of the desire to go beyond walls, cross the world and discover Asia, a continent full of cultures, languages, customs and gastronomy. Aspects that I want to know, touch, taste, study and live deeply. A desire trapped in the lack of confidence and understanding of my environment, in the fear of losing my comfort zone, in moments of conformism, in insufficient resources...

All this feeling is reflected in a shell made of Western layers and fabrics that I try to gradually transform into Eastern patterns. A vivid representation of two very opposite worlds, but which hold me back from my desire for learning and self-discovery.
