In nature we trust, In future we believe. My design aimed to engage series of scientific and architectural principles to minimize the environmental impact of similar houses located in Vancouver, Canada. The concept was deeply influenced by climate change and it’s latest rebellion. Considering the risk of social and ecological collapse caused by global warming I tried to include introducing materials and concepts to reduce the damage. The interior design of the house drew inspiration directly from Modern West Coast, therefore you can see series of natural elements and materials. Inspired by the revolutionary nordic style, the design of the house involves a range of neutral colours to complete the strong connection between the interior and the exterior spaces, also to create a feeling of peace and serenity that makes it a perfect place to live in and to call it home. Natural light was the key consideration when designing the house, which promoted the house to organizing and styling the internal layout to enjoy the most of the provided daylight. The house creates more energy than it consumes and this is the key element of designing this place.
