Product Design: Halo Crepe & Gelato Bar

Halo Clark is a pioneering pastry chef who has just opened his very own dessert cafe located in English Bay, Vancouver. Halo is a heaven-themed crepe and gelato bar. Inspired by images and colors from ‘The Garden of Earthly Delights’ by Hieronymus Bosch, the keywords into creating the heavenly packaging are blissful, Eden and fulfilled. Soft pastel colors represent the soft and calmness of the idea of Eden. All illustrations and patterns are vector, flat colors and no texture is applied in order to create a smooth, modern look. The typeface used for each name in the packaging is a novelty typeface which complements the choice of colors, the novelty typeface is used as a typographic solution throughout all packaging applications. Each packaging contains similar brand artwork with their own twist, each accompanied by little vector symbols that relates to what the product is, the colors used are also to describe the flavor of each product.
