Martian Beauties store branding

Martian Beauties is a retro boutique snack store. All of their original products are inspired by snacks that were popular in the 1960s, a time of nostalgia and historic events such as the moon landing. To better combine space age fashion into the packaging, the Martian Beauties idea was born. Illustrations of alien beauties wearing fanciful outfits and taking human food to Mars creates a throwback to sci-fi movies and comics from the 1960s. The branding colours and fonts were selected to be reminiscent of the experimental 60’s style. The designs are bright and warm with a retro paper texture.
