Golden Anise is a spice retail brand with Ayurveda as its theme. Its purpose is to promote Ayurveda’s food culture and the principles behind it. A major focus of this project needs to combine Ayurveda’s cultural background and scientific knowledge behind it, introduce it to the mass market in an effective and aesthetic way. This design uses the Mandala style art from India, using three elements in Ayurveda as a conceptual design package, and placing adjectives in large fonts on the outer packaging as a highlight.
Ayurveda is a mysterious science in India with a long history. In purpose to represent and highlight the inner charm of Ayurveda, here use the appearance of a natural single color as the outer, to have a contrast strongly with the bright colors inside.
This is a handbook designed for a full set of gift boxes. The challenge is to let customers understand the basic concepts of the Ayurveda diet and Ayurvedic. In this case, we focus on three Doshas, using color and extra page interpretation to highlight the difference between each Dosha. The illustration on the package represents the nature of the three Doshas of Ayurveda. The side is the characteristics and benefits of the three flavors of the main product.
In Ayurvedic, every Dosha body has different needs. We have built the personal business card base on the system, which is related to the two sides of the card.
