The goal was to create an iconic store that would generate a strong identity for both the signature brand and location. We had to choose a brand which was located in Vancouver. The building has a total area of 8997 sq ft. The challenge was to incorporate our own style but also maintaining the brand’s identity. There had to be a patisserie space as well, in order to attract more customers. Mirrors are among the most familiar objects in our surroundings and yet the most fascinating object for people. The design is inspired by Mirrors, in the matter that the relation between mirror and space is overwhelming. This effect can be astonishing in space, we can use mirrors to make space look bigger, and create lighting as desired. The design has different shaped mirrors creating different feels to spaces. As the brand portrays minimalism, the outlooks of the store also represent the clean, contemporary design. The color scheme stuck to the neutrals maintaining the brand’s identity. In contrast with monolithic surfaces, the half eye-shaped mirror wall is placed craftily in the men and women area, providing the space various engaging effects.
