Photography II Course_Product Shots Assignment
For this Photography II assignment, I had to photograph 3 different kinds of any products - I photographed a body liquid soap, shampoo, and body lotion (as long as it had the brands) on different backgrounds. Afterwards, I had to do touchups to fix the lighting, saturation, etc. via Adobe Photoshop to create the final outcome. Additionally, I had to shoot behind the scenes photos to showcase how I set up the products for my product shots (and I also needed reflectors with my shots).
Palmolive Body Soap
This bottle of Palmolive body soap was taken on a wooden platform above the swimming pool in my house. I had to use a black reflector to help with the shadows, in which the other side would be brighter. Additionally, I had to use a clone tool via Adobe Photoshop in order to erase the door at the far end of the wood - this helps create the shadowy black area in the distance.
Rejoice Shampoo
This shampoo bottle was taken by a grey wall near my swimming pool. I had to use Adobe Photoshop tools to seamlessly blend the grey wall to make the background smooth - thus no lines between the wall and floor, and no lines on the floor would be visible.
Lubriderm Lotion
This lotion bottle photo was taken out in my backyard. I also had to use the blur tool and masking tool to make the bottle stand out from the background, as well as fixing the color of the grass to make it more green. Furthermore, I had to use the clone tool to take out any brown or yellow parts in the grass.
