Incendies is a movie by the filmmaker Denis Villeneuve in which the protagonist Nawal tells her two kids Simon and Jeanne to look for their father and their brother. In a series of flashbacks, the audience discovers the hard life the protagonist went through and why she asked her kids to look for their father and their brother. Incendies is a cinematic masterpiece in which events often take an unexpected turn.
