Forensic Experimental Typeface

Forensic is an experimental typeface inspired by the crime fiction genre. Each letter is a crime scene in miniature. Forensic scientists must find all the small details that can lead them to solve the crime. This font was crafted by hand, using household items and ingredients that were accessible during the lockdown. The alphabet consisted of blood drops made of beetroot and glycerin. The texture of the blood drops helped to keep the letters consistent across the alphabet. Once the letters were completed, each letter was retouched and perfected through Photoshop.
