Bali Beans - Packaging Design

The new “foodie culture” has become a lifestyle and hobby not just for the rich and famous, but for a growing number of young people who are willing to spend money on gourmet foods. The act of eating has become a fashionable trend; not just an excuse to get together but also a plartform and a vehicle for self-expression. My design rationale is inspired by chocolate ritual in Bali which is the Cacao ceremony that is rooted in helping to re-balance the energies within us, restore good health, focusing on wellness, holistic health and healing. Cacao are used in multiple ways and can be found in various products. Each ceremony differs from the other, although you can expect some or all of the following: meditation, singing, dancing and laughing. During a cacao ceremony you can reveal and connect to your most genuine and true self. It is a unique experience and a beautiful way to celebrate life and love. Each packaging represents the object that is essential for the ceremony and each of them holds a deep meaning.
