Originally for an Art Photography class assignment, this collection of photographs intersects both fashion and architecture. Shot with a DSLR, the buildings under construction are taken at an angle then mirrored to form a symmetrical visual, with the goal of realising photos that resemble the effect achieved through the cutting of printed fabrics on a bias. All images are displayed in black and white both to ensure that they are harmonious and to highlighting the richness of the shadows captured.
Special thanks to Veronique Ducharme (@vero.ducharme) for encouraging this photography project.
