"Mobile app to combat hate crime." With the rise of Asian Hate Crime across North America, I was inspired to approach this growing issue. Ally is an app where users can use to report hate crime, browse news articles related to hate crime, view the local map to see past cases, and learn about your human rights. Ally is for anyone whether you are a bystander, a victim, or witness of hate crime. Ally can keep records, validate and secure evidence. From the app, users can directly report hate crime to RCMP. GPS enabled can help the users plot the exact location of incidents and can easily view details of local resources and information about hate crime/discrimination.
